Hoy miércoles 20 de setiembre hemos recibido del Presidente de la FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov una invitación para el Presidente de la Federación Paraguaya de Ajedrez asista a las dos últimas rondas del Campeonato Mundial a llevarse a cabo próximamente en san Luis, Argentina.
La carta escrita en inglés es la siguiente:

Dear Mr President,
I am very pleased indeed that the World Chess Championship Tournament 2005
will be held in San Luis, Argentina from 28 September to 15 October… 78 years
after the legendary match Alekhine – Capablanca in 1927, the crowning of the
World Champion will again take place in South America!
With the opportunity of this historic event, FIDE will also hold its next
Presidential Board Meeting in San Luis, October 14-15, where I shall also be
present. I would therefore like to invite you in Argentina during the last
rounds of the 2005 World Chess Championship! We will have the chance to see
together the end of this magnificent event, to attend the closing ceremony and
at the same time to discuss personally about all important matters concerning
your National Federation and the worldwide development of chess.
I am looking forward to our meeting in Argentina next month and I feel obliged
to thank you for your kind efforts in promoting our beloved sport throughout the
American Continent!

Estimado Presidente:
Me siento muy complacido de que el Torneo por el Campeonato Mundial 2005 será
llevado a cabo en San Luis, Argentina, desde el 28 de setiembre al 15 de octubre
... 78 años después del legendario match Alekhine-Capablanca en 1927, la
coronación del Campeón del Mundo de nuevo tendrá lugar en Sudamérica!.
En oportunidad de este histórico evento, la FIDE también realizará su siguiente
reunión del Gabinete Presidencial en San Luis, los días 14 y 15 de octubre, en
el cual yo también estaré presente. Me gustaría invitar a usted a Argentina
durante las dos últimas rondas del Campeonato del Mundo 2005. Nosotros tendremos
la oportunidad de ver juntos el fin de este magnífico evento, asistir a la
ceremonia de clausura y al mismo tiempo discutir personalmente acerca de todas
las cuestiones importantes relativas a su Federación y el desarrollo del ajedrez
en el mundo.
Ya estoy esperando nuestra reunión en Argentina el próximo mes y me siento
obligado a agradecerle sus amables esfuerzos en promover nuestro querido deporte
en el continente americano.
